Privacy

Your data stays yours.

Food and health data are personal. Here are our promises, and below them the policy for this website. The app’s privacy policy will be published before launch. Questions: privacy@foodtrace.app.

  • No ads. Ever.

Not in the free plan, not in Plus. And we’ll never push products or medications at you.

  • No red numbers. No food shaming.

Information, not judgment. Hide calories anytime and focus on what you’re getting.

  • Your data stays yours.

Never sold to advertisers, brokers or insurers. Choose what syncs with the Apple Health app; export or delete everything in a tap.

Website privacy policy

Effective October 7, 2026

What this policy covers

This policy covers the FoodTrace website. A separate policy for the FoodTrace app will be published before the app launches.

What we collect

If you join the waitlist: your email address, the goal you choose (optional), and which page you signed up from.

If you contact us as an investor or partner: your name, email, and anything you choose to tell us, such as your firm.

The only health-related question we ask is your optional main goal. We never ask about medications or conditions, and we don’t use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We note which part of the page you signed up from.

How we use it

To tell you about FoodTrace’s launch, early access and founding-member offer, and to reply when you contact us. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell or share your personal information. We use a small number of service providers — such as our email and form provider — to run the waitlist, and they may use your information only to provide that service to us.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from any email, or ask us to access or delete your information, by writing to privacy@foodtrace.app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws; we honor those requests.

Do Not Track: because this website doesn’t track you across other sites, there’s nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date below and, for material changes, let waitlist members know by email.
